The major challenge hindering efforts to eradicate violence against women and children has been underreporting and poor access to post violence services delivery points. To bridge this, we have engaged key stakeholders in Kiteto district who are in the chain or receiving and responding to violence against children and women. The stakeholders discussed challenges hindering cases/concerns escalations and made decision on how to improve. We also shared our draft youth summary with briefing notes on the rights and services delivery point’s contact information’s. We have generated over 1000 brochures that will be distributed in the communities. The stakeholders who attended included Police officers, Social Welfare Officers, Court, Prison, Migration, Prevention and Combating Corruption Bureau officer, Financial institutions, health practitioners, psychologists, Village and Ward Executive Officers, survivor-led organizations, etc. Powered by YALI RLC East Africa
