It has been a great achievement to have trained over 100 ECAN schools club members on leadership and emotional intelligence. The trained aimed at building their capacity in understanding and unleashing their leadership potential in transforming their communities against Gender Based Violence (GBV) and Violence Against Children (VAC).

Dr Steve Mortenson, the Professor of the University of Delaware travelled to Kiteto, Manyara Tanzania to deliver sessions for three days. He metaphorically used ‘shadows’ to express how fear, anger and guilty might affect one’s emotional and become ineffective in whatever they do.

The training ended by all for clubs from four schools (Kiteto, Bwakalo, Partimbo and Kibaya) coming up with their action plans.
